About the event

Join us for an eye-opening session on new research into how breast support affects teen girls’ physical activity.

Hosted by Bow Valley College, Chiu School of Business.

This event spotlights key findings from a research project led by Bow Valley College for TheBraGirl, in partnership with MITACS.

The study gathered insights from mothers of teenage girls living in Calgary, Alberta through surveys and in-depth interviews. These perspectives helped uncover current challenges around teenage girls’ participation in physical activity - particularly as influenced by access to adequate breast support - viewed through the lens of the primary female caregiver.
